Your files

Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. When you choose a PDF, it is read into your device's memory and handed to a compression engine (Ghostscript, compiled to WebAssembly) that also runs on your device. The result is written back into the same browser tab and offered to you as a download.

No copy of your file is transmitted anywhere. There is no upload endpoint, no queue, and no server-side processing. We do not receive your file, so we cannot read it, store it, or hand it to anyone else. There is also no deletion policy to trust, because there is nothing on our side to delete. Once the page has loaded you can disconnect from the internet entirely and the tool will still work.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies, uses no local storage for tracking, runs no analytics scripts, and carries no advertising. Nothing follows you between pages or between visits.

That is also why you will not see a cookie banner here. Consent banners exist so that sites can ask permission to track you. We do not track you, so there is nothing to ask about.

The contact form

The contact page is the one part of this site that sends anything to a server. If you use it, the name, email address, and message you type are delivered to us by FormSubmit, a form forwarding service that turns the submission into an email and passes it on. Your message reaches us through their systems.

We use what you send only to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not share, sell, or publish your message. Files are never involved: the compression tool has no connection to the contact form, and no PDF can be attached to it.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare's servers record standard request logs when your browser fetches a page: typically your IP address, the time, the page requested, and your browser's user agent. This is ordinary infrastructure logging, it happens for every site you visit, and it is not something we use to build any profile of you. It never includes the contents of your files, because your files are never requested from a server.

Third parties

Tool pages make no third-party requests at all. Fonts are served from this site rather than a font CDN, and the compression engine is served from this site too. The only external service involved anywhere is FormSubmit, and only at the moment you submit the contact form.

Your rights

Because we hold no accounts and no file data, there is usually nothing of yours for us to find. If you have sent us a message through the contact form and want a copy of it or want it deleted, write to us and we will do it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. The core commitment will not change: file data will never touch a server.
